This e-book is only available in the EPUB file format. You need an e-book reader app or software to read this e-book. An e-book is not available as a PDF.
If you do not have a mobile device with an e-book reader app, you can open the file on your computer with e-reader software.
Gallup recommends using Amazon’s free Kindle reading app to read your e-book on your personal computer. To do this, install the app and copy your e-book to the library.
- Go to Amazon’s Kindle apps page and click the Download for PC & Mac button to download and install the app.
- Open the app and sign in with your Amazon account.
- NOTE: You can still read your e-book without signing in to your Amazon account. If you do not want to sign in to your Amazon account, close the Register Kindle window.
- NOTE: If you sign in with your Amazon account, you can skip steps 3-6 and instead send your e-book to your account via email. Refer to Amazon's page on sending documents to your Kindle as an email attachment.
- From the top menu in the Kindle app window, click Tools, and then select Options.
- Click Content on the left side of the Options window. This shows the Kindle app’s local content folder on your computer where you need to save the e-book's file. Make a note of this location.
- Download your e-book's file and copy it to the folder you noted in the previous step.
- Close the Kindle app’s Options window, and then press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh your library. Your e-book should appear in the Downloaded section.
- NOTE: If you did not sign in to the app with your Amazon account, restart the app to refresh your library.
- Double-click your e-book to read it.
