Action Planning

Create and manage action plans directly from survey results by selecting teams and linking plans to specific questions or Q¹² items. 

Action planning is integral to responding to survey results and creating organizational change. As a result, there are several areas within a survey's report to help you quickly create an action plan.

Create a Quick Action Plan

  1. From the Teams drop-down list, ensure you have selected the team you want to create a plan for.
  2. Click Create Action Plan on one of the following areas of the report:

    • From the Action Plans drop-down lists on the upper-right corner of the report page
    • The highest or lowest ranking items on the Overview or Questions tabs (if the survey includes the Q12 Mean index)
    • Below a question on the Questions tab

    Note: Clicking Create Action Plan for an item or question will automatically select it as a related item of the plan.

  3. Use the options of the Create Quick Action Plan window to provide your plan’s details, and then click Create Plan.

  4. (Optional) To add a task to the plan, click Add a task to it in the Action Plans window.

View a Team’s Action Plans

To view all action plans for the selected team and report you are viewing, select View Action Plans from the Action Plans drop-down list on the upper-right corner of the page. This will display the Action Plans window.

Note: Unless you have access to view the action plans your teams and team members created, you can only view the plans you created for the selected team.
