Questions Tab

Understand a lifecycle survey's complete details, including index results, data changes over time and customizable question-level results.

The Questions tab provides the full details of all indexes and questions included on the survey. Each index appears as a separate subtab at the top of the page, along with an Additional Questions subtab for any non-index and custom questions. Click a subtab to view the results for an index and its questions.

The top of an index subtab displays a summary of the results for that index, including current mean, current top box and total respondents.

This tab displays the following data depending on the type of survey questions and customized metrics:

Respondents
The number of people who responded to the question.

Current Mean
The average response to the question, showing overall satisfaction or agreement among respondents.

Current Topbox
The percentage of highest-rated responses to the question, showing the proportion of strongest agreement among respondents.

Frequency Distribution
The breakdown of percentages across the response scale, showing the distribution of responses and helping interpret variation in results. Position your mouse pointer over the distribution graphic to view the response percentages.

Database Mean n
The average response at the nᵗʰ percentile in the comparison database, for benchmarking the current mean.

Database Top Box n
The percentage of highest-rated responses at the nᵗʰ percentile in the comparison database, for benchmarking the current top box.

Mean Percentile Rank
The position of the average response (i.e., current mean) in the comparison database. A higher percentile means better results.

Top Box Percentile Rank
The position of the highest-rated response percentage (i.e., current top box) in the comparison database. A higher percentile means better results.

Highest Response
The most common option respondents selected, and its corresponding percentage out of all responses.

% Yes/No
The percentage of "Yes" or "No" responses.

Sentiment Distribution
The percentage of responses in four sentiment categories: positive, negative, neutral (neither positive nor negative), and mixed (positive and negative). Position your mouse cursor over the distribution data to view specific response numbers for each sentiment.

Note: Sentiment data are unavailable for questions with fewer than 50 responses.

The color of the Current Mean, Current Top Box, Mean Percentile Rank, and Top Box Percentile Rank values corresponds to percentile ranges in the comparison database:

Color for 90th or greater percentile. The value is greater than or equal to the 90ᵗʰ percentile.
Color for 75th to 89th percentile. The value is within the 75ᵗʰ to 89ᵗʰ percentile.
