Select survey languages, review untranslated content, add translations, and bulk import or export translations with CSV files.
The Translate tab includes translation options for the survey and consists of the following sections:
Languages
Use this section to select the languages to translate the survey into. This affects any Gallup questions on the survey, as well as the default text for survey content, email invites, and email reminders.

Translate
Use this section manage survey content that requires translation, including email invites and reminders. Gallup automatically provides translations for default text and any Gallup questions on your survey, and lists in this section any content that you must provide translations for.
Note: Any untranslated content will appear in American English.
Translate section
Click an item to display the content that requires translation, type the translations in the available fields, and then click Save.
Bulk Import Translations
Use this section to upload a CSV file with all translated content for the survey. You can also export all translatable survey content or download a previously uploaded file.

Click Export Content to receive an email with a CSV file of all survey content that can be translated.
Note: To modify a previously uploaded file, click the View past uploads link, then download the file from the Uploaded Translations Files window.
- The CSV file includes a column for each language the survey is available in. Update the file with translations for each language.
- Click Upload Translations File.

In the Upload Translations File window, click Choose File to select the CSV file with the translations. Then click Upload.
Note: It may take some time for the upload process to complete, depending on the file size. During this process, you cannot modify the survey's translated content, but you may modify other survey aspects.
