Review Tab

Review survey setup details, check for issues before launch, and view participation data and access quick actions for live and completed surveys.

The Review tab displays a summary of the survey's settings, including its content, distribution method, respondents, and scheduling options (i.e., survey launch, email invites, email reminders, and survey close).

For a draft survey, this tab highlights any issues or errors with the survey that require addressing before launch. When a survey is live or complete, this tab displays quick actions and the survey's aggregate participation data.

Quick Actions

The upper area of this tab provides quick actions if the survey is live or completed. The options available to you depend on the survey's settings and your permissions.

A live survey has the following options:

Pause Survey
Temporarily prevent respondents from taking the survey.

Resend Invitations
Have Gallup send email invites to all respondents.

Resend Reminders
Have Gallup send email reminders to all respondents who haven't completed the survey.

Weblink Email Template
Displays a template you can use to create an email for respondents.

A completed survey has the following options:

Copy Survey With Trending Data
Create a new version (i.e., administration) of the survey so that the results include trending data. The new survey's settings will match the current one's, and Gallup allows only limited changes to ensure trending data accuracy.

Copy Survey Without Trending Data
Create a duplicate of the survey without trending data in the results. This is useful if you want to create a similar survey without starting from scratch.

Review Report
View the survey's reporting data.

Edit Report Configuration
Displays the Manage Reporting tab to edit the visibility of reporting group data.

Edit Manager Access
Displays the Manager Access page to determine which managers have access to the survey's reporting data.

Viewing Participation Data

This tab also displays aggregate participation data for live and completed surveys. When a survey is live, it provides near real-time participation tracking with completion totals and percentages by team and demographic group so you can monitor response rates and decide when to close the survey.

Click View Participation Details on the right side to display more information on the Detailed Participation page.

Note: You can also receive participation data from Gallup via email.

The Teams tab of the Detailed Participation page displays direct and rollup participation data for primary and custom teams. Use the Search field to find a specific team, or click Export Data to download a CSV file of the data.

The Reporting Groups tab of the Detailed Participation page provides options for viewing demographic participation data for the survey's reporting groups. Use the Reporting Group 1 drop-down list to view data for a single demographic, or select a second demographic from the Reporting Group 2 drop-down list to view combined (nested) data. To download the data as a CSV file, select an option from the Export Options drop-down list.
