The Advanced Data Tool provides you with the power and flexibility to review and analyze survey report data in ways that best suit you. This guide covers the tool's core features and how to use them effectively. The tool consists of the Customize Analysis and Analysis Overview sections.
Note: Access to this tool and certain features depends on your account roles and privileges.
Advanced Data Tool main page
To access the tool, select Advanced Data Tool from the Menu on the upper-left corner of the page. Or click View Advanced Data from the Quick Actions area of your Gallup Access dashboard.
Menu options
The Selected Report field shows the survey report data you are currently viewing. To select a different survey report, use the Search Reports drop-down list.
Note: You can only select reports from closed surveys with data you have access to view.

If the survey includes multiple question types (e.g., rating, open-ended or Yes/No questions), use the Question Type drop-down list to select which data to view.
