An active member's page of the User Management tool consists of the following tabs;
User Details
When viewing an Active member, use the User Details tab to review and edit their details. You cannot edit the following fields:
- Client
- Date Added to Client
- Username
- User ID

Roles & Privileges
When viewing an Active member, use this tab to review or modify their assigned roles. Client roles grant access to all projects and surveys, while project roles grant access to specific projects or surveys. For example, the Workplace Report Reader role at the client level allows a member to view all reports for all surveys across the client. But the same role at the project level lets them view the reports for a specific survey only. A member can have one or more client roles, project roles, or a combination of client and project roles.
Use the Roles & Privileges tab to:
Modify a Member's Client Roles

In the Client Roles area, click Manage Roles to display a list of client roles.

Client Roles area -
Select the roles you want to assign to the member, and clear the roles you want to deny the member access to.

Member's client roles -
Click Save when you are done.
Note: The member will not receive an email or notification indicating the changes.
Assign Project Roles to a Member

In the Project Roles area, click + Project Specific Role to display a list of projects (i.e., surveys).

Project Roles area -
Select one or more projects (i.e., surveys) to grant access to the member. Then click Next.

Projects - Select one or more roles to assign to the member. These roles apply to all projects you selected on the previous page. Then click Save.
Modify a Member's Project Roles
Click a project's More Options menu (⁝) to view options for modifying the project role:
Edit Project Roles
View the project's available roles. Select the project roles you want to assign to the member, and clear the roles you want to deny the member access to.
Remove Projects
Remove the member's access to the project.

Projects
When viewing an Active member, this tab lists all projects or surveys you have invited the member to participate in, which you can use to review their status.

Projects tab
Click a row's More Options menu (⁝) to view options for managing a member's survey participation:
Remove From Survey
Remove the member from the project or survey. For projects with a status of Draft or Preview, Gallup will not email an invitation to the member when you launch the project. For Active projects, Gallup will discard the member's responses and update the project's participation details.
Resend Invite
Send a new email invitation to the member. Any prior invitations the member received for the project are still valid. This option is only available for projects with an Active status.
Reset Survey
Reset the member's survey status. If the member had started the survey without completing it, this would force them to start over. Any prior invitations the member received for the survey are not valid.
Note: The More Options menu (⁝) is not available for projects with a Closed status.
