Customize auto-generated topic labels for open-ended survey responses to better reflect comment themes in survey reports.
Use this section of the Advanced Configuration Tool to edit the topic names created automatically by Gallup for a survey question's comments. Gallup uses topic modeling to determine the essence or summary of each comment and groups them by similar topic.

This section consists of the following areas:
Project
Select the survey whose report you want to configure.
Verbatim Question
Select the open-ended question from the survey whose topic names you want to edit.
Verbatim Topics
This area lists the topics and associated words and phrases for the comments from the selected survey question.
- Click a topic's edit button (
) to edit its name. - Click Show Verbatims to view a topic's comments.
- Click Show Child Topics to view a topic's sub-topics.
