Control how past survey data is calculated and displayed on survey reports.
This section of the Advanced Configuration Tool determines how Gallup Access calculates past survey data for a survey's report and which past data appear on the report. It's useful for recurring surveys with significant changes in participants between administrations (e.g., teams with high turnover). You can also configure this section for all future surveys.
- To determine how Gallup Access calculates past survey data for a survey's report, select Apply configuration for a selected project, use the Project drop-down list to select the survey, and then select your desired past data option.
- To determine how Gallup Access calculates past survey data for all future surveys, select Apply configuration for all future projects, and then select your desired past data option.

Recast Measures section
Choose from the following options:
Recast measures
Gallup Access calculates past data based on the current set of participants. It excludes data for participants who do not exist in the current administration.
Regular measures
Gallup Access calculates past data based on participant responses from the past administration. In other words, Gallup Access calculates past data as it did at the time of the past administration.
Note: If you select Show Recast and Regular measures, you can use the Default Past Measure option to choose which past data measure appears for an index's results summary on a survey's report.
