Gallup prioritizes respondent confidentiality. For this reason, survey data may be suppressed in certain cases.
Data Suppression Rules
- Fewer than 4 responses per item: If a Q12 item receives fewer than four responses, results for that item will not appear in the report.
- Fewer than 4 responses in a group: You will not receive group-level reports for any group with fewer than four respondents.
Advanced metrics: Certain metrics—such as the Engagement Index, Frequency Distribution, and Sentiment Analysis—require higher minimum response thresholds to be reported.
Note: While the default threshold is four, survey administrators can choose to increase this minimum when creating the survey. This means that even with four or more responses, some data may still be suppressed depending on the configured threshold.
