View and manage survey respondents by reviewing details, editing individual records, removing respondents or updating multiple entries with a CSV file upload.
Loaded respondents appear in the Respondents section of the Distribute tab. To view a respondent’s survey code, select View or Edit from the respondent’s More Options menu (⁝).
If you loaded a respondent with just a survey code and not an email address and yet an email address is displaying for them, that means that Gallup Access has an email address in the database for that respondent.
The respondent will still get an email, but they will also be able to use a survey code to take the survey.

While a survey is open, you can edit a respondent’s data in two ways:

Select Edit from the respondent’s More Options menu (⁝), and edit the data directly in Gallup Access.

Edit multiple data entries using the Upload File option
You can upload a new CSV file that only contains the respondents you want to update, or you can update and reupload the existing CSV file with the data you want to change. For each previously loaded respondent, Gallup will update the existing records with data from the newest file and add it to the survey.
Note: Gallup will remove data for any existing records with blank fields. For example, if a respondent has "Accounting" for their department and you upload a new file with the same respondent’s department blank, then Gallup will remove "Accounting" from the respondent’s department.
