For: Gallup-Certified Strengths Coaches
If your Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach certification is due for renewal, you can access your Recertification exam directly through your Gallup account. Certification is valid for three years.
What to know before you start
- 20 multiple-choice questions — open book (course materials, Coach Kits, etc. are allowed)
- Not timed
- No charge
- Two attempts available — use the first as a practice run
Access the Recertification exam
- Sign in to your Gallup Access account
- Navigate to Menu (upper left) > Learning Center.
- Locate the Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach Re-certification tile and click to begin.
Note: If you don’t see the Recertification tile, type exam in the search bar, then select your language from the left side of the screen.
Take the exam
The best study guide is to review your coaching materials before your first attempt. Your first attempt can serve as a practice run — use it to identify areas to study.
After completing your first attempt, a review will appear immediately on your screen showing all questions and the correct answers.
Note: The post-exam review is only available immediately after answering the last question. You cannot return to view it later.
Access your updated certificate after passing
Within 24 hours of passing, your updated certificate will be available in your Gallup Access account. To access it:
- Click the Profile icon in the upper right corner of your home screen.
- Select My Account, then select Coach Certification.
The Coach Certification section gives you access to:
- Recertification date
- Certification logos
- Updated certificate
- Coach directory profile (updates sync within 24 hours)
