How do I invite someone who previously completed CliftonStrengths to my organization's Gallup Access portal?

If you have a Gallup Access subscription and are a System Administrator or Client User Administrator, you can invite individuals who have previously completed CliftonStrengths to join your organization’s Gallup Access portal.

Administrator steps

  1. In your Gallup Access account, navigate to Menu > Administration Tools > User Management.

  2. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Actions > Add New User.

  3. Type the individual’s email address and assign a role (for example, CliftonStrengths Resource User or Individual Contributor) or leave it blank.

Gallup Access will send the individual an email invitation to join your organization’s portal.

Individual steps

To transfer previously completed CliftonStrengths results, the individual will click the link in the email invitation you sent using the steps above. They will register a new account in your organization’s portal, and then follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to Gallup Access using the new account credentials.

  2. Go to Menu > CliftonStrengths.

  3. Click Transfer CliftonStrengths.

  4. Type the username and password from the original account where they completed the assessment.

This will copy their results into their new organization-linked Gallup Access account.


Move individuals from Your Connections to Your Organization

If an individual already appears under the Your Connections tab in Connections, but you want them to appear under the Your Organization tab so you can add them to organization Teams and include them in your client portal, follow these steps:

  1. As a System Administrator or Client User Administrator, go to Menu > Administration Tools > User Management.

  2. Click Actions > Add New User.

  3. Type the individual’s email address, then complete the process to invite them to join your organization’s Gallup Access portal.

Gallup Access will send them an email invitation to join the portal. The individual will then:

  1. Open the email invitation and click the link.

  2. Register or sign in to their new organization-linked account.

  3. Follow the same Individual steps above to transfer their existing CliftonStrengths results into your organization’s Gallup Access portal.

If you are unable to successfully add an individual to your client portal or move them from Your Connections to Your Organization, contact Gallup Support for assistance.
