The Theme Table stores all individuals' data, including their CliftonStrengths, which Cascade uses to create all of its reports. Gallup recommends keeping all individuals' data in a single Cascade file, regardless of which team, department, organization or client they belong to.
Note: A Cascade file can include a maximum of 2,000 individuals' data.

Theme Table
To add data to the Theme Table, manually type each individual's information in the green section on the right or export the data from Gallup Access and use Cascade's Import Themes feature. After editing the data, click Reset at the top of the page to organize the Theme Table.
Note: When adding an individual's CliftonStrengths manually, you must select each theme from the list of options in the cell.
Each individual's name, email address, CliftonStrengths completion date and themes appear in the green section on the right. Cascade uses formulas and the data in the green section to automatically create the data for the pink section in the middle. The blue section on the left is optional but recommended because it lets you categorize and group individuals for filtering and reporting purposes.
Note: Duplicate names appear in red and bold in the Name column.
Categorizing Individuals
There are four columns (A-D) in the blue section on the left for categories. You can customize these column headings if you want. Depending on the individuals and your preferences, you can use Company, Location, Department, Team, Cohort, Family or Workshop Session. These headings will help you filter and group individuals in the Team Grid.
Extra Information
Click View Extra Info at the top of the page to display and modify the following columns:
Role
An individual's team function, which is typically their job title. Cascade uses this for the Team Roles and Contributions report.
Contribution
What an individual brings to the team. Cascade uses this for the Team Roles and Contributions report.
Dominant
The number of CliftonStrengths an individual considers as their dominant range. If this is blank, reports with dominant themes will use 10.

Theme Table - Select the Excel file you downloaded from Gallup Access, and then click Open.
-
Cascade will open the file and ask you to confirm you want to import the themes. Click Yes.

Cascade Import Themes window - Select whether you want to prevent duplicate data by ignoring any individuals who already exist in the Cascade file.
- After the import process is complete, select whether you want to refresh the Team Grid with the new data.
