No—incomplete surveys do not affect your data in Gallup Access.
Gallup only records survey responses once the participant clicks Submit Survey. If a participant is interrupted by a power outage, browser timeout, or other issue before submitting, their responses are not saved.
What Happens if a Survey Is Interrupted?
If a participant:
- Closes the browser
- Loses internet connection
- Experiences a system crash
They will need to return to the survey and submit it in full to ensure their responses are recorded.
Note: Encourage participants to complete and submit the survey in one sitting to avoid data loss.
