Recovering an old CliftonStrengths account

If you’ve taken the CliftonStrengths assessment before and need help accessing your results, there are two ways to recover your account — depending on whether you can still access your original account email.

If you still have access to your account email

If you can still access the email address linked to your account, you can recover your login information with Account Assistance

Enter your email address and follow the prompts to reset your password. You'll have the option to verify and change your username after clicking the email link to reset your password. Once your credentials are updated, you can sign in and view your results by navigating to the Menu in the top left corner of your account and selecting CliftonStrengths.

If you no longer have access to your account email

If you no longer have access to the email connected to your CliftonStrengths account, our Support team can help you recover it.

Because Gallup’s database includes millions of CliftonStrengths accounts, we’ll need a few details to locate your profile. If we can identify your account, we’ll help you update your email and regain access to your results.

When you contact Support, please include as much of the following information as you can:

  • Your CliftonStrengths access code (if available)

  • Any email addresses you may have used (school, work, or personal)

  • Any other names you may have used (for example, a maiden name or nickname)

  • Your middle initial

  • The username you may have created

  • The approximate date you completed the assessment

  • Your Top 5 CliftonStrengths themes, if you remember them

  • The organization or school you were affiliated with when you took the assessment

Tip: The more details you share, the easier it is for our team to locate your account.
