The CliftonStrengths section of the mobile app brings your strengths experience with you, so you can quickly revisit what you do best and apply it at work and in daily life. It includes your strengths profile, tools for sharing and comparing strengths with others and learning resources that help you turn insight into action.
Your Signature Themes reflect the five talent themes that are most dominant for you. Select each theme on the Home screen to read a description and explore practical tips for putting your strengths to work, such as how you contribute, how you partner with others and what helps you perform at your best.
You can also access your CliftonStrengths reports and other resources in the app, including additional insights and learning content (such as articles and videos), so you can deepen your understanding of your results over time.
Note: If you have taken the CliftonStrengths assessment more than once, all of your results are saved in your account. You can select your preferred results from your profile settings at any time.
Sharing Your Strengths Profile
Sharing your strengths with colleagues, friends and family is a good way to give others a clearer picture of how you think and work. To share your profile:
- Tap the QR code icon on the Home screen, or navigate to Share Your Strengths Profile from the More menu.
- Review your profile card, which displays your name and CliftonStrengths Top 5.
- Tap Share Via to send your profile through any app on your device, or tap Email to send it directly by email.
Recipients can scan the QR code on your profile card to learn more about your strengths and begin exploring their own.
Compare Strengths
The Compare Strengths feature displays a side-by-side chart of your strengths themes alongside another person's, so you can quickly see where your talents align and where they complement each other.
To compare strengths with someone:
- Navigate to People from the bottom navigation bar.
- Select a connection from your list.
- Tap Compare Strengths to display the Theme Comparison chart.
The chart plots each of the 34 CliftonStrengths themes on a shared axis, with your results and your connection's results shown as separate data points. Themes where the two of you score closely indicate shared ways of thinking and working. Themes where your scores differ most highlight natural areas of complementary partnership.
Note: A connection's strengths are visible only if they have shared their profile with you.
Team Strengths
The Team Strengths section gives managers a view of their team's collective talent profile. Tap it from the Home screen or navigate to Team Visuals from your dashboard to see how your team's strengths distribute across Gallup's four domains — Executing, Influencing, Relationship Building and Strategic Thinking. The Team Summary tab includes an AI-generated overview of team dynamics, while the Team Grid displays each member's Top 5 themes side by side.
Purchasing CliftonStrengths in the App
You can purchase CliftonStrengths assessments for yourself directly through the Gallup Access app. Purchases are processed through your device's app store — iTunes for iOS or Google Play for Android. The available products are CliftonStrengths Top 5, CliftonStrengths 34, and Upgrade to CliftonStrengths 34.
Note: App purchases are for personal use only. To purchase assessments for others, visit store.gallup.com on a desktop browser. See Purchasing for Others below for details.
If you don't have an account yet
- Open the Gallup Access app. If you are not signed in, tap Discover Your Strengths on the home screen.
- Select your preferred product — CliftonStrengths Top 5 or CliftonStrengths 34.
- You will be directed to sign in or create a Gallup Access account.
- After signing in or creating your account, tap Buy Now to complete your purchase through your app store.
- Once your purchase is complete, you will be redirected to the app to begin your assessment.
If you already have an account with results
- Sign in to your Gallup Access account.
- From the home screen, scroll down and select Purchase CliftonStrengths.
- Complete your purchase through your device's app store.
- After completing the assessment, return to the home screen and tap Assessment History to view and switch between your available results.
Note: The Upgrade to CliftonStrengths 34 option is only available to users who have already completed the Top 5 assessment and are signed into that account.
Purchasing for others
Purchasing access codes for other people is not supported in the Gallup Access app. To buy assessments for others:
- Go to store.gallup.com in a desktop browser and sign in to your account.
- Purchase the quantity you need. You will be able to view and manage your purchases in Gallup Access.
- Distribute codes by emailing recipients directly from the site, or by exporting access codes to share yourself.
- Each recipient signs in to or creates their own Gallup Access account to redeem and use the product.
