Survey Reporting

Survey reports on the mobile app provide managers and administrators with survey results and analytics to understand what is driving engagement across their teams. Tap View All Reports from the Home screen, then select a report from the list to view its results.

Overview

The Overview screen summarizes key results for the selected survey, including the survey date range, total respondents and any filters currently applied. When trending is available, it also shows whether results have changed over time and how they compare with a previous survey administration.

If the survey includes Gallup's Q¹² items, the Overview screen also displays engagement-specific insights that provide a quick view of where a team is performing well and where there may be opportunities for improvement. These include the highest and lowest ranking Q¹² items and engagement status distributions when the survey has enough responses.

Questions

Use Questions screen when you want to get an item-level understanding of the survey's results. Gallup Access organizes results by index and question so you can see which items are having the most influence and where meaningful change is happening. Depending on the survey configuration, question views can include measures such as respondents, current mean, comparisons to prior administrations (when available) and trend indicators that help you see whether progress is consistent over time.

Questions also connect results to built-in guidance. Each question provides insights to help you understand what a question measures, and provides tips you can use to interpret results and prepare for a meaningful conversation with your team.

Text Analytics

The Text Analytics screen helps you interpret open-ended questions at scale by breaking down survey responses into positive, negative, neutral and mixed sentiment categories when enough comments are available. You can also review individual comments as anonymous responses, giving you real examples of what people are experiencing so you can add context to changes in scores and identify what to address first.

Action Planning

The mobile app also supports action planning from within reporting, so you can capture next steps while you review results. For example, you can create a plan tied to a specific question or item (when available), which helps keep actions connected to what the survey results show.
