Whether you can update the number of respondents depends on your survey type.
One-Time Surveys (Gallup Store Q¹² Surveys)
If you purchased a one-time Q¹² survey through the Gallup Store, the number of respondents is locked in once the survey is applied and cannot be changed.
Gallup Access Workplace Subscription (Unlimited Surveys)
If you have a Gallup Access Workplace subscription with access to create unlimited surveys, you can edit the number of respondents at any time before the survey is closed.
If your survey is live:
- Sign into Gallup Access and go to Menu > Surveys. Click on the survey you need to edit.
- On the Distribute tab, edit the Respondent Estimate field.
- On the Review tab, click Publish Changes to apply the changes.
Note: The respondent count only matters if you're using a web link to distribute your survey. If you're uploading a list of respondents, the specific number entered does not affect delivery or reporting.
