Whether you can update the number of respondents depends on your survey type.
One-Time Surveys
If you purchased a one-time survey, the number of respondents is locked in once the survey is applied and cannot be changed.
Unlimited Survey Subscriptions
You can edit the number of respondents at any time before the survey is closed.
If your survey is live:
- Sign into Gallup Access and go to Menu > Surveys. Click on the survey you need to edit.
- On the Distribute tab, edit the Respondent Estimate field.
- On the Review tab, click Publish Changes to apply the changes.
Note: The respondent count only matters if you're using a web link to distribute your survey. If you're uploading a list of respondents, the specific number entered does not affect delivery or reporting.
